Your donations will provide direct humanitarian aid in Ukraine. Without overhead costs, we will make sure your donation brings food, warmth and support to kids, orphans and refugees. Thank you!
Crossing the border into Ukraine to deliver aide is not easy. Trucks spend up to five days in line to make the journey from Poland into Ukraine. Once our food is safely across the border, our Polish and Ukrainian Rotary volunteers work with local Rotarians and local government officials to identify the areas of greatest needs and disperse the food as quickly as possible.
Our food priorities are first to serve orphan's and children's safe houses throughout Ukraine. After stocking more than 21 orphanages, we supply food to refugee centers, and villages and families in isolated areas.
We are careful to make sure that this humanitarian aid stays safe and is delivered just where it is needed.
Winter is changing some of the types of food we deliver and we've evolved to also deliver sleeping bags, warm clothes, and generators.
Purchase a bag of groat for $80.00 or a generator for $500.00. You can also send solar lanterns for $15.00 each. Check the next section to see what your donation will purchase.
Want to make a huge difference to a child suffering from the trauma of war? Sponsor a child at a Rotary-organized therapeutic 2-week holiday in the Polish mountains with other Ukrainian orphans in April, 2023. Call for specific details about this sponsorship. Susan Mathison 603-530-2314
We work closely with our Rotary partners in Poland and Ukraine to identify what refugees and orphans need most and then purchase the goods and services locally and throughout Europe. This makes us one of the best charities to donate to.
Food and heat in the form of sleeping bags, generators, and other goods are staged in our two Polish warehouses. When the right mix of goods is assembled, Rotary volunteers truck the aid across the Ukrainian border. Once across the border, the goods are distributed for Ukrainian orphan relief and for refugees in villages throughout Ukraine. With over 700 tons of aid delivered already, the needs continues to grow as the war drags into the winter months and more and more refugees flee their homes.
We use local knowledge from our Polish and Ukrainian Rotary partners as well as Ukrainian government officials to identify the most needy orphans and refugees.
Would you like to Do Good? Please consider sponsoring a bag of groat (grain flour), or a pallet of groat and canned meat, or a generator. We'll transfer 100% of your donation to our partners and we'll make sure your donated item makes it safely to provide aid to the innocent victims of war.

What we do is for kids like these and thousands more.
In December 2023, Common Man for Ukraine's co-founders led their eighth humanitarian aid convoy into the war-torn country.
Over three days, with the help of our volunteer partners, we delivered food, critical supplies, and holiday presents to more than 760 orphans and internally displaced children living at 17 orphanages and safe houses.
